Review / Ulasan untuk Dr. Selma Ng Sze Chuen
Dr. Selma isn’t a patient doctor. During consultation, she always keep it short without further explanation towards patient’s doubt. She shows less concern towards patients but just to complete her task.
During my delivery, she doesn’t show compassion to me as a new mummy but acted impatiently too.
In terms of her skills, the wound that she stitches actually broken up after I left hospital and rest at home. For natural delivery, people usually recovers quickly. But for me, after a few days, I felt unusual pain from my opening. When the KK nurses come and check my wound, the incision ACTUALLY OPENED and the STITCHES BROKEN. According to the KK nurses, the reason it breaks is because of the improper stitching.
I had two appointments with her, the first one she was normal but then on my second visit she seems having a personal life problem until her mood isn’t that good to answer the questions and keep staring instead of explaining. It was different with my first visit when she was smiling and spoke friendly. I know her husband is also working there as a senior obgyn but I dont think it’s professional to show your mood especially you are a doctor.
I dont like to leave a bad review, yet unfortunately for Dr Selma I have too. I did a surgery with her and two days after leaving hospital it was broken, the stitches opened up and it’s hurting also feel burning. I was going back to her and she was calmly said it’s normal. I was then going to another obgyn and it says it shouldn’t be opened up too quickly or else too dangerous and supposed to be lasting for at least a week. The worst part is Dr Selma was indeed mentioning one doctor (I just knew that’s her husband) Dr Soon just to emphasise it’s normal for the stitches to open up. When I booked an online appointment too with her I found out when she’s not available & her husband too (cause I was looking for a substitute doctor when she wasn’t around at PAH). I thought PAH should be better thinking twice to hire husband and wife especially on the same line just like Dr Selma and her husband. Yet the main point is just related to her behaviour & professionalism.
